Great atmosphere! Love the decor! Service a bit slow and would have to wait a period of time to get service Food was Good, Entree generally very delicious and i had a spicy margarita which was made perfect! For mains we Ordered medium rare steak and the steak came out medium lucky the steak was still quite tender and succulent to eat. The steak was paired wine jus which enhanced the taste of the steak, also Had crispy chicken which was on the dryer, interesting that they had wild rice in the dish which absorbed all the flavour of the chicken and was very good to eat. Would def come back to try the other menu,

A very welcoming location. Despite not actually staying at the hotel on premises, we experienced a dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The service was exceptional with very attentive and pleasant staff. We requested that the timing between each meal be spaced out with no rush and they accommodated. The sectioned off tables gave a sense of privacy in such a public space and we got to enjoy our delicious food within the comfort of each others company. The food was delicious and well presented. Definitely a great place to experience for dinner.

Went here for a nice lunch with my lovely wife whilst the kids were at school. Hadn't had a child free dining experience for sometime together so not sure if that made our lunch seem nicer or not : ) Service was well above standard and felt genuine warmth and customer service from the staff there. My steak was amazing, seasoned and cooked to perfection... so so tender! my wife had duck which to her was a tad dry. We also went for the Tandoori Cutlets for an entree and they were sensational! Had a serve of the roast spuds as well which we lovely as well. If an Accor plus member when dining with 2 people you get 50% off the food bill. Will def be back.

Our favourite local spot! We come to The Newmarket Room every single week and it truly feels like our own little slice of the city. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the food never disappoints. A special mention to the manager Nabin and the entire team — they always go above and beyond, remembering us, looking after us, and making every visit feel personal. Their service is consistently exceptional and it’s the reason we keep coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great meals, amazing staff, and a place that feels like home. Ps. We’re obsessed with the seasonal menus!!!!

We had lunch here and went for 3 courses. Surprised to find such a fancy spot in this area (though makes sense since it’s at the races). The pork belly was a standout – crunchy, perfectly seasoned, and the apple slices balanced it beautifully. The sirloin was good, exactly as expected, but I had food envy over my friend’s mushroom and ricotta gnocchi. It didn’t look great, but honestly one of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever tried. Dessert was the letdown – the apple and rhubarb crumble was too tangy and the texture didn’t quite work for me. Service was excellent though – friendly, helpful, and really approachable staff made the whole experience better.

First time had a bday dinner here. Food is reasonable. We skipped entry and ordered few mains. Confit Duck is a bit dry though.

Always a great place for a beautiful dinner. Came in the celebrate my mums birthday. Had the oysters, tartare, duck and potato croquettes, gnocci, shortribs, chicken roulade, crispy pork cutlet and scotch fillet. The food was all presented beautifully and the balance of flavours were amazing. The pork was a smidgen on the dry side, however was extremely flavourful and the slaw and crust helped a lot. The chicken was also bery tasty and moist. The crispy eggplant was also delicious. The scotch fillet was cooked perfectly! Also had the passionfruit cocktail which was amazing. The portion size was on the generous side. None of us finished our mains as we got pretty full (don’t recommend the focaccia esp if you’re also getting entrees and mains as you might get too full like we did). Customer service was amazing and very attentive. It made my mums day when they came out to sing Happy Birthday. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit especially if you are wanting to celebrate a more special occasion. Restaurant layout was also amazing and the colour scheme very relaxing and sophisticated.

Amazing experience definitely 5 stars. The food and presentation are excellent. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. When ordering dessert they went extra for one of our birthdays, many thanks!
